Radial Piston Pneumatic Motor |
To operate properly, the following must be taken into consideration when specifying an air motor for an application - Air pressure, psig or bars, at the motor location
- The air line pipe size must be sufficient to supply the volume, cfm or m3/min, of air
required to operate the motor - For most plant air systems the pressure varies during the day. The motor should be
sized according to the minimum air pressure you normally have available. - For reversible air motors, a four-way control valve is recommended to obtain forward
and reverse. For one direction of rotation only, a one-way valve may be used.
