The Sturtevant Richmont LTCR Series PreSet Torque Wrench , 810060, is designed for use on production lines and other applications where a specific torque is required for repetitive operations.   Adjustments to torque settings can only be made with a Combination Adjusting and Release Tool (CART) to prevent tampering on the production line (CART tool sold separately).  Sturtevant Richmont (S/R) preset torque wrenches have an integral ratchet for use where imited access, soft joint, or many degrees of rotation applications are encountered.   The slide pin ratchet is extremely strong and durable.  A ball bearing rockover assembly in each S/R preset torque wrench assures smooth operation, enhances repeatability, increases cycle life, and helps control ownership costs.   Each pre-set torque wrench is lightweight and manufactured with a durable, smooth vinyl handle, which provides good ergonomics, which reduces operator fatigue.  S/R preset torque wrenches feature an audible and tactile impulse when preset torque is achieved.  Torque values can be calibrated in English or Metric settings and can be calibrated using any unit of torque measure.  A torque tester must be used to set torque value.  S/R pre-set torque wrenches are accurate within 4% of indicated value.   All S/R torque wrenches meet or exceed ASME B107.14M, ISO 6789.
